have signed a letter of intent outlining their future technology cooperation. 
The goal of cooperation is scaling up manufacturing of high-temperature 
superconducting (HTS) tapes with the help of pulsed laser deposition (PLD) to 
enable mass deployment of compact fusion as a new carbon-free energy source. 
Coherent LEAP excimer lasers are the industry standard in PLD that enable 
the manufacturing of high quality HTS tapes. Faraday Factory Japan,
